The Stage
2014, Digital print od wooden construction
The large scale sculpture was made for the exhibition "Something with Performance" in KuLe, Berlin 2014 that was cocurated by Nick Crowe and Nika Radić (the text for the exhibition can be found here)
The space where the exhibition was held was photographed before the exhibition, at a time it was used as a theatre space. The photograph was printed in a scale 1:1, mounted on a wooden construction and placed back in the same space creating a stage-like backdrop that confused with its trompe-l-oeil effect making it unclear what was real and what a photograph.
